Joas has turned a new leave. He has started building his faith on that Father that his love is divine. He was very docile to cling to the truth that is  of bringing change in one's life. The truth that makes one unique. One day he did this on his own: "O Father of Divine love,  because I am still weak in love and imperfect in virtue,  I need to be strengthened and comforted by Thee; therefore visit Thou me often and instruct me with Thy holy ways of discipline. Deliver me from evil passions,  and cleanse my heart from all inordinate affections,  that, being healed and  altogether cleansed within,  I may be made ready to love, strong to suffer, steadfast to endure," in your name I pray. Amen! (Imitation of Christ BK III ch 5:2) Tilia was very happy that she has taught him a new way of life.   Zucchetto (Skullcap) The small skullcap that is typically worn by Bishops, Cardinals and Pope is called the zucchetto (plural- zucchetti.) The Pope's zucchetto is white, that of the Cardinals is red, while the ones for the Bishops is purple. Historically, the skullcap was created to protect the part of the wearer’s head bared by tonsure. It is used to cover that part from cold. (Tonsure is a ritual shaving of the crown of the head as a sign of humility and one's religious vocation. It is also a way of identifying with Christ who wore a crown of thorns during his passion. It was usually a requirement that before ordination to the priesthood, the circular shaving of the person's crown of head is done. This was later abolished by Pope Paul VI in 1972.)   What does a mediator means? It's means he who intercesses for others. He is an intercessor. He is a helper. He could be said to be kind, lovely, merciful and generous. This personality is visible in the role Abraham played in Genesis 18:20-32. He pleased for the people of Sodom and Gomorrah before God. Who revealed to him (Abraham) his plan to destroy them because of their evil deeds. But it was unfortunate that Abraham's mediation was fruitless because all the citizens of these great cities sinned so much. This passage also portrayed God's patience as he listened to Abraham and gave consideration to all his suggestions. Abraham was kind, generous, merciful and so on. God manifested his patience. These are great lessons for you and I. Do learn them, they will set you apart and make you unique and your glory will increase. Be Kind! Be Generous! Be Unique!   

What you know  makes you what you are.  Do not think you can be great,  when you barely seek for knowledge.   Be Docile! Be Unique!
