 HER BIRTH. Today the church celebrate the birth of the Virgin Mother of the Saviour of the world through her the light of salvation shine through the world.  Her birth gave hope to the world in danger of condemnation. The world's hope of safety, joy of salvation was assured. A new era was dawn through her birth. The hope of the coming saviour was made manifest by the birth of the Virgin Mary, made man's fear of condemnation ceased. The Mother of God, Queen of the universe, the hope of our race was born to humanity. Her uniqueness has no comparison. There is no other like her. O Mother Mary pray for us that what your birth brought to us may be our portion and may we end our earthly journey in the Beatific vision with your son Jesus Christ who lives and reigns with the Father and the Holy Spirit, God for ever and ever.
